Launched in the fall of 2016, The Period Pals Project is dedicated to addressing menstrual insecurity. We want to ensure that everyone in our community has access to menstrual hygiene products. Missing work and/or school due to lack of supplies is not uncommon. Menstrual supplies are expensive, taxed as a luxury and are not covered under Colorado's food assistance program.
We provide a one year supply of menstrual products in donated paper bags from Target. Included in this package are approximately 300 tampons or pads, liners and a supportive, handmade note.
We work with Boulder Valley School District (BVSD) to provide these one year supply bags to students. We are also able to provide food bank participants at Emergency Family Assistance Association (EFAA) with one year supply bags. You can request a one year supply of menstrual products directly through our email, email@example.com or here on our website.
