Launched in the fall of 2016, The Period Pals Project is dedicated to addressing menstrual insecurity in Boulder County. We want to ensure that everyone in our community has access to menstrual hygiene products. Missing work and/or school due to lack of supplies is not uncommon. Menstrual supplies are expensive, taxed as a luxury and are not covered under Colorado's food assistance program.

Our Bags

We provide a one year supply of menstrual products in donated paper bags from Target. Included in this package are approximately 300 tampons or pads, liners and a supportive, handmade note.
For our students facing housing instability we offer weekly and/or monthly supply bags.

Getting supplies

We work with Boulder Valley School District (BVSD) to provide both one-month supply bags and one-year supply bags to students.
We provide food bank participants at Emergency Family Assistance Association (EFAA) and Sister Carmen Community Center Food Bank with both one-month supply bags as well as one-year supply bags.
If you are a Boulder County resident you can request a one year supply of menstrual products directly through our email, periodpalsproject@gmail.com or here on our website.
